Armenia to Compensate Alexander Arzumanyan 11,600 Euros as per ECHR Ruling
The European Court has today ruled on the case of Alexander Arzumanyan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Sweden and Iceland, regarding the March 1 cases, recognizing a violation of Article 11 of the Convention and granting appropriate compensation. This was reported on the Facebook page by Arzumanyan's legal representative, Liparit Simonyan.
“Congratulations to Alexander Arzumanyan. In this case, I and Vahe Grigoryan have represented Arzumanyan's interests,” he noted.
It is worth mentioning that, according to the ruling, Arzumanyan will be provided with 9,000 euros from the state budget of Armenia as compensation for moral damages, along with an additional 2,600 euros for expenses incurred.
