A Kia Vehicle Crashes into a KamAZ Transporting Stones in Kotayk

Today, on August 31, a major traffic accident occurred in the Kotayk region. As reported by SHAMSHYAN.com, at around 21:45, a Kia Sorento vehicle crashed into the rear of a KamAZ truck transporting aggregate stones on the 45th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan road while heading towards Sevan.

As a result of the accident, the Kia driver was severely injured. He was extricated from the vehicle with the assistance of the citizens and the Kotayk regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Hrazdan firefighters. The driver was taken to the Hrazdan Medical Center.

The rescuers disconnected the severely damaged Kia from the power supply, secured the gas cylinder, and cordoned off the area. The driver of the Kia is employed in the community police division of the Hrazdan police department as a community police officer.
