Turkey Ready to Discuss Taking Control of Kabul Airport

Turkey's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar has announced that Turkey is ready to discuss the issue of taking control of Kabul Airport. This was reported by the Turkish Anadolu news agency.

“Turkey aims to contribute to the reconstruction of Afghanistan by ensuring the security and stability of the Afghan people. Necessary conditions must be ensured regarding the Kabul Airport, and decisions from the Turkish state authorities must be accepted and established, as well as directives from the president,” Akar stated. “We are ready to consider all proposals.”
