‘The site for the construction of the 5-star hotel is precisely where the hated enemy was building the so-called Artsakh parliament building’ – Aliyev
In the Republic of Artsakh’s Shushi, instead of constructing a parliament, Azerbaijanis are building a 5-star hotel. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced this in occupied Shushi.
“I personally chose the site for the new five-star hotel right in the place where the hated enemy was constructing the so-called Artsakh parliament building. This was done to mock us. The notion of ‘Republic of Artsakh’ does not exist. The foundations of this building had already been laid, and even the stonework was completed. By my order, this den of devils was destroyed in Shushi,” said Ilham Aliyev.
According to him, the new hotel will have 150 rooms.
Ilham Aliyev recalled that following renovations, the “Karabakh” hotel was reopened last Sunday: “The Karabakh hotel was in terrible condition, only two floors were operational, there was no water or electricity.”
Earlier, it was decided that on May 9, 2022, marking the 30th anniversary of the liberation of the fortress city of Shushi, the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh would be relocated from the capital Stepanakert to Shushi.
