I Have Decided to Continuously Present Our Plans to Overcome This Tragic Situation. Arshak Sadoyan's Post
Former MP and member of the Public Council, Arshak Sadoyan's post.
“Dear Facebook friends, I have decided to continuously present our plans for getting out of this tragic situation, piece by piece, in the near future. How can we emerge from this pit?
Dear readers, expecting your support as well, I want to address an important issue from the outset: The number of our compatriots around the world is already three times greater than the population of Armenia. And if we set aside all the functions of misleading voters, using administrative resources, and the intimidation that we have witnessed, it is still clear that the Civil Contract party has only been elected by a portion of the voters of the Republic of Armenia. It is natural that without considering the opinions of various segments of the diaspora, without having discussions with their representatives, and without obtaining their approval, the Nikol-led government has no mandate or right to solve critical issues on behalf of our entire nation or to make decisions that significantly impact its future.
The need for nationwide discussions, adopting mutually agreed approaches, and organizing cooperation is emphasized even more now due to the fact that our country, with a small population and a very low productive economy, will not be able to stand on its feet in the next decade with its own forces following such a heavy defeat and such terrible losses. And since relying on the unselfish aid of other countries is foolish, the only route left for us is to consolidate our entire monetary potential.
The Armenian people are not only those residing in Armenia. We are 10 million around the world. Today, when the question of our existence is on the scale, every voice must be heard. Especially when the path to salvation today is entirely dependent on our collective strength. And that collective strength is not as small as one might think. We truly have a capable, powerful large diaspora, and by uniting our efforts, we still have the opportunity to collectively emerge from this pit and take our rightful place and role in this world.
There are already concrete plans developed in this direction that require only the necessary steps to be taken, and by utilizing modern means of communication, telecommunication, and remote management, we can form a capable network of nationwide organizations that will have its center in the capital, the state of Armenia. This will not only help us get out of this pit but will also create conditions for our compatriots everywhere to live a safer and more prosperous life.
To be continued.”
