30 Hectares of Grassland Burned Near Akunk Village
On August 29, at 18:20, a report was received at the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center regarding a fire that broke out in the area adjacent to Akunk village.
A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 20:55. Approximately 30 hectares of grassland were burned.
