High-Level Fire Hazard Situation Expected Across the Republic: Weather Forecast

From August 27 to 31, the entire territory of the republic is expected to experience a gradual rise in air temperature by 5-7 degrees Celsius due to the influx of tropical hot air currents from the regions of Iraq. The highest temperatures will be recorded from August 29 to 31 in the lowland areas of the republic, particularly in the Ararat Plain and its foothills, in the valleys of Syunik, and in Yerevan, reaching +38 to +40 degrees Celsius.

During these days, a high-level fire hazard situation is expected throughout the republic. We urge the population to adhere to fire safety rules.

Expect dry weather across the republic from August 27 to 31. Winds will be from the south-west at 5-10 m/s, with gusts expected to intensify during thunderstorms, reaching speeds of 15-20 m/s. The air temperature during the day from August 27 to 30 will gradually increase by 5-7 degrees.

Weather conditions in the regions of Armenia and Artsakh, as well as in Yerevan, will be dry from August 27 to 31.
