The Special Army Corps Has a New Commander

The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has appointed Artak Budaghyan as the commander of the Special Army Corps. By another decree, he has been relieved of his duties as the commander of the 4th Army Corps.

“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 133, Part 1 of the Constitution, as well as Article 35.1, Part 1 and Article 36, Part 1, Clause 1 of the Law on Military Service and the Status of Servicemen, Artak BUDAGHYAN is appointed as the commander of the Special Army Corps,” reads the text of the decree.
