Goris-Kapan Road Remains Closed, Says David Bek Village Administration Head

In Syunik, Azerbaijanis continue to keep the Goris-Kapan interstate road closed at two sections, causing concern among residents.

"The road is closed, and that is already a problem. If the road is closed, an issue arises automatically," Benjamin Poghosyan, the head of the David Bek village administration, told "Factinfo." He mentioned that he has no information regarding ongoing negotiations, but as of 18:30, the Goris-Kapan section remains closed.

"This is unrelated to David Bek. It is a main highway—Kapan-Yerevan. The main M2 road is closed," he stated, adding that it has caused distress among the local population.

"There is no panic, but people are worried. This issue is not just for David Bek, but it is a local problem for the entire Kapan community. It is a problem for everyone," said the village administration head.
