Senior Officer Rolls Over in Ford After Leaving the Road

Today, on August 25, an accident occurred in the Armavir province. Around 18:30, a Ford vehicle left the roadway and ended up upside down in a field on the 7th kilometer of the Ejmiatsin-Margar highway.

According to Shamshyan.com, the Ford was driven by Laert Hayrapetyan, a senior officer of the 3rd platoon of the Yerevan garrison of the Police Patrol Service. When he was taken to the Vagharshapat Police Department to determine his sobriety level, he staged quite a show asking who the police were to take him to decide on his drunkenness.

He also claimed that a Chevrolet vehicle had created an emergency situation for him, which became the cause of the accident. The traffic police found the Chevrolet at the scene, and its driver told the police that there was a recording device in his car and they could verify it.

The police are currently working to identify the driver of the Chevrolet. Some time later, Senior Officer Laert Hayrapetyan sought medical examination at the Vagharshapat Medical Center.
