New Appointment in the Investigative Committee
According to a decree by the President of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan, dated August 25, 2021, Arman Vagif Baghdasaryan has been appointed as the head of the Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, relieving him from his position as the head of the investigative division for the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan. Biography
Arman Vagif Baghdasaryan, the head of the Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia and a first-class advisor in justice, was born on December 26, 1984, in the city of Hrazdan, Kotayk Province. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Police Academy of the Republic of Armenia in 2007.
From 2007 to 2012, he served as an investigator and senior investigator in various units of the Kotayk Regional Investigative Division of the Investigative Main Department of the Police of Armenia. From October to December 2014, he served as a senior investigator in the Arabkir administrative district's investigative division of the Yerevan urban investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia. Between 2014 and 2020, he held the position of deputy head of the investigative division for the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan. In 2020-2021, he served as the head of the same division.
Arman Baghdasaryan participated in the aggressive war unleashed by Azerbaijan in September 2020. During his service, he has been repeatedly awarded by the heads of the Police of Armenia, the Police of the Republic of Artsakh, and the President of the Investigative Committee of Armenia. He is married and has two children.
