Military Expert Highlights Change in Strategic Line: Our Settlements Have Become the Border
The Turkish studies expert and military analyst Karen Hokhannisyan has noted on his Facebook page that the change in the strategic line after the 44-day war is evident if we open our eyes wide. Before September 27, 2020, Azerbaijan had settlements along the entire length of the Armenia-Azerbaijan and Artsakh-Azerbaijan borders, whereas the Republic of Artsakh, or the Republic of Armenia, had very few border settlements.
However, after the active phase of the 44-day war, a favorable situation has arisen for Azerbaijan. They have left their settlements behind and approached our settlements, thus establishing a border along the entire length of our settlements with the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh. This means they have created a very favorable zone for their civilian population, a zone that has been established for us over many years.
