Photo: Anna Mkrtchyan Injured While Being Removed from the National Assembly

National Assembly member Taguhi Tovmasyan has shared a photo and commented: "The foot of National Assembly member Anna Mkrtchyan after the altercations. Such treatment towards a woman is highly condemnable. I won’t say much more."

As we reported earlier, during a session, Mkrtchyan reminded Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that he once mentioned details about the leadership of Azerbaijan and the internal political situation that could potentially disrupt Azerbaijan's political landscape if revealed. She also stated that Pashinyan had brought security personnel with him to the parliament.

Interjecting her, ruling faction members began to make noise from their seats, after which Alen Simonyan reprimanded Hrachya Hakobyan, and Anna Mkrtchyan was removed from the hall until the end of the session. Security personnel were summoned to escort Mkrtchyan out, which led to a 20-minute recess being announced.
