Israel Strikes Targets in Gaza Strip

The Israeli Air Force has targeted several sites in the Gaza Strip in response to incendiary balloons launched into Israeli territory. According to a report by the army's press service quoted by "Armenpress", the IAF attacked a Hamas weapons manufacturing facility in Khan Yunis, as well as the entrance to a tunnel leading to Jabalia.

The strike also targeted a Hamas underground launching site located near civilian homes and schools in Sajaiya, as mentioned in the military's statement.

The army noted that these attacks were conducted in response to incendiary balloons launched into Israeli territory on the evening of August 23, which they described as “yet another example of Hamas continuing to employ terrorist tactics and targeting civilians.” The military emphasized that Israel would continue to respond decisively to all attempts of terrorism emanating from Gaza.
