Georgia Records First Case of COVID-19 Death in Vaccinated Patient

Georgia has recorded its first case of a patient vaccinated against the coronavirus who has died from COVID-19. This was announced by Georgia's Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze.

Currently, vaccination in Georgia is being conducted using AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Sinopharm, and Sinovac Biotech vaccines. Minister Tikaradze stated that while it is unfortunate to have such a case in Georgia, it should not cause panic. She emphasized that similar rare cases can occur worldwide.

However, the minister did not specify which vaccine the patient had received.
