Russian Deputy Prime Minister Considers Discounted Arms Supplies to CSTO Countries Possible
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov has not ruled out the possibility of supplying arms at preferential prices to CSTO member countries bordering Afghanistan. According to a report by RIA Novosti, he made this statement in an interview with journalists.
“We will do everything possible to strengthen our southern borders,” Borisov noted in response to a question regarding the potential supply of discounted weapons and military equipment to CSTO countries adjacent to Afghanistan.
Earlier, the CEO of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, stated that Russia is ready to supply weapons to neighboring countries of Afghanistan if the Taliban pose a threat to those nations.
