First 50-Meter Flag of Russia Raised in Artsakh

For the first time in Artsakh, a 50-meter flag of Russia has been raised. The ceremony commenced with the raising of the state flag of Russia accompanied by the national anthem of the Russian Federation.

"On August 22, we celebrate our country's state flag day. This holiday is aimed at uniting all those who are committed to their homeland and who highly value the history of their country and their people," said Colonel Oleg Egorov, Deputy Commander of the Russian Peacekeeping Forces during the ceremony.

Participants at the event included peacekeeping contingent servicemen and volunteers. "Today, for the first time in the history of Artsakh, a ceremonial formation was held in the area of the permanent deployment of the peacekeeping force, dedicated to the day of the Russian flag. A 50-meter by 5-meter flag brought with the help of the 'We Are United' union of volunteers was also showcased to the entire personnel. The festive order was read, and all servicemen were rewarded, including with delicious gifts, pies, and pastries," General Egorov noted during the celebration.

The event concluded with the display of the 50-meter flag of the Russian Federation and a solemn march under patriotic military songs.
