Business Operators Will Be Held Accountable in Case of Recurrence of Violations in Anti-Epidemic Measures

Inspections by inspectors of the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia aimed at combating the coronavirus pandemic continued on August 23 in the retail network of the Nor Nork administrative district in Yerevan. According to the announcement from the Information, Consultation and Public Relations Division of the Food Safety Inspection Body, inspectors from the center in Yerevan recorded a relatively satisfactory situation; some stores had shortcomings that were corrected on site. Therefore, no reports were filed, but these operators were strongly warned that in case of recurrence of violations, administrative penalties would follow.

The inspections are ongoing. Reminder: the main requirements established for the prevention of the coronavirus are that employees and customers must wear masks, maintain social distance, hand sanitizers must be readily available in stores, surfaces must be regularly disinfected, and there must be records of disinfection and temperature checks.
