Armed Forces General Staff on the Situation at Lake Sev

Certain Armenian online media outlets have reported, referencing Telegram channels, that the adversary has attempted to advance towards Lake Sev, indicating that the situation is quite tense. Colonel Samvel Asatryan, head of the information department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, denies these circulating reports.

“All of these news are disseminated by Azerbaijani channels attempting to create panic among the public,” Asatryan stated in an interview with Factor.am.

It is noteworthy that for more than three months, Azerbaijani armed forces have violated the borders of Armenia in the Lake Sev area, and they continue to remain in the territory of the Republic of Armenia while periodically attempting advances.
