Armed Man Enters Bookmaker's Office in Yerevan

On August 20, at around 9:10 AM, the Malatia Division of the Police received information that a man armed with grenades had entered a betting office on Babajanyan Street. Police leadership and operational teams were dispatched to the scene.

Negotiations with the armed individual yielded results. He exited the bookmaker's office and was taken into police custody. His identity was confirmed as a 34-year-old resident of Babajanyan Street in Yerevan. The circumstances are being investigated.
