Opel Astra G Crashes into Gas Station Equipment in Yerevan and Catches Fire

On August 20, at 5:25 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received an alert regarding a fire at a gas station located near building 6 on Lenin Street in Yerevan. Four fire-rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that an Opel Astra G, driven by a 34-year-old male (born in 1989), veered off the roadway and collided with the gas station's charging apparatus, causing damage and subsequent fire.

The driver was hospitalized at Armenia Medical Center, where he received necessary medical treatment and was later discharged. The fire was contained by 5:45 AM and fully extinguished by 5:49 AM.
