Video: Suspect Wanted for Violence Against a Government Official Found

A suspect wanted for committing violence against a government official has been located. This information was reported by the press service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

On August 17, the criminal investigators of the Arabkir police division received information that a 28-year-old man, wanted on charges of committing violence against a government official and intentionally damaging or destroying property, was hiding in one of the hotel complexes on Myasnikyan Avenue in Yerevan.

The suspect, who attempted to flee, was found and taken to the Arabkir police division. A measure of restraint in the form of arrest has been selected for the young man, who resides on Sayat-Nova Avenue in the capital. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
