Goris Deputy Mayors Irina Yolyanyan and Menua Hovsepyan Arrested

The Investigative Committee has announced the arrest of Goris deputy mayors Irina Yolyanyan and Menua Hovsepyan as part of a criminal case being handled by the Main Investigative Department for Especially Important Cases.

Additionally, employees of the Goris City Hall, Arpine Chobchyan and Susanna Sargsyan, have also been arrested. They are suspected of committing particularly large-scale embezzlement or misappropriation.

Deputy Mayor Menua Hovsepyan is also suspected of obstructing the exercise of electoral rights, the operation of electoral commissions, or the implementation of the powers of individuals participating in elections.
