Citizen Attempts to Jump from Bridge: Emergency Situations Ministry

On August 17, at 01:44, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a citizen was attempting suicide by jumping off the Kiev Bridge in Yerevan. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A response team from the Yerevan City Fire and Rescue Department, along with a psychologist from the Psychological Support Division, was dispatched to the scene.

With the combined efforts of the rescuers and police officers, the suicide attempt of citizen E. Kh. (born in 1992) was prevented. The individual was transferred to the Mashtots Police Department.
