Azerbaijan Attempts to Gain What It Has Dreamed of Since November 9: Karen Hovhannisyan

This is no longer a provocation; it is clearly part of a targeted operation carried out by Azerbaijan. Why is it firing at a village when it poses no threat to it? What does it want? It aims to advance, seize new territories; that is the goal. This was written by military expert Karen Hovhannisyan on his Facebook page.

Azerbaijan, by delaying certain actions (exactly along the border and demarcation), which could bind its hands, is trying to come out as advantageous as possible and blackmail us with control over new territories, obtaining what it has dreamed of since November 9—the so-called corridor. Armenia's prompt actions must be logical. Today, the people of Artsakh face a water crisis; this is a humanitarian disaster. Today, residents of Armenian villages are being targeted; this is again a humanitarian disaster.

And all of this is happening because the enemy has crossed the borders of Armenia and approached the villages, because the enemy has taken control of Armenian settlements in Artsakh and is creating problems for new water supply routes. Armenia must definitely appeal to international organizations if it cannot solve its problems. Especially in this situation, when the enemy is bringing a humanitarian disaster, we must urgently appeal to relevant international bodies, if only to ensure that our subsequent actions are clear to them.
