31-Year-Old Resident Stabbed 33-Year-Old Man in Hrazdan Field

On August 15, a stabbing incident occurred in Hrazdan city. Around 7:30 PM, two men got into an argument over household issues in the Mikrosrjan neighborhood, which escalated into a physical altercation that ended with a stabbing.

Minutes after the incident, the police station in Hrazdan received a report from the medical center that a 33-year-old man had been admitted with a stab wound to the left side of his chest.

A criminal case was initiated, and the investigative body took various measures to uncover the circumstances of the incident, from compiling relevant reports at the hospital to conducting operational inquiries.

Thanks to the diligent work of law enforcement, one day after the report, the identity of the suspect was revealed. Criminal investigators received information that the assailant was a 31-year-old resident of the same neighborhood who had stabbed the victim in a nearby field.

Through explanatory work, the man appeared at the police station in Hrazdan on August 16. He has been presented to the Kotayk regional investigation department and has provided a confession. Measures are being undertaken to locate the knife used in the stabbing.

The preliminary investigation of the initiated criminal case is ongoing.
