"Write my drunkenness; I won't be able to drive anymore, I'm a few hundred kilos, how can I walk?" Says drunk driver to police chief

"Write my drunkenness; I won't be able to drive anymore, I'm a few hundred kilos, how can I walk?" Says drunk driver to police chief

The Police of the Republic of Armenia has repeatedly urged drivers not to drive under the influence of alcohol, yet some drivers seem to ignore these warnings. On August 17, around midnight, 44-year-old Edgar Kojoyan, a resident of Yerevan, lost control of his Porsche Cayenne and collided with a metal barrier near the well-known small bridge in the Davitashen administrative district.

Fortunately, according to preliminary information, there were no injuries. The driver underwent a sobriety test, which revealed that he was indeed under the influence (drunk).

The head of the Patrol Service of the Republic of Armenia, Colonel Arthur Umrshatyan, also arrived at the scene. The driver, perhaps unaware of the stature of the person in front of him, pleaded to resolve the situation so that the accident would not be documented and his intoxication would not be recorded.

Kojoyan faced disappointment as he could not convince the Patrol Service chief. He later lamented, "My goodness, it looks like I won’t be able to drive for a year or a little more. How can I walk with my several hundred kilos?"
