At the moment, there are no gunshots; the situation is calm, and people are going about their daily lives. There were gunshots during the night of August 14-15, but after that, the situation stabilized. This was stated by Argam Hovsepyan, the administrative leader of Aravus village in Syunik province, in an interview with Tert.am.

"Only insults are being hurled, but dogs bark too. Such things have become common; they probably want to intimidate. Right now, the situation is calm," said Hovsepyan.

It is noteworthy that the Office of the Human Rights Defender reported that on August 15, between 12 and 1 PM, Azerbaijani military fired towards the village of Aravus in Syunik province.
