«Expo 2020 Dubai»: Armenian Producers to Share Platform with World’s Major Companies

From October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, the "Made in Armenia" four-day exhibition will take place in Dubai as part of "Expo 2020 Dubai," where Armenian companies and producers will have the opportunity to participate.

According to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, this exhibition will allow not only the presentation of Armenian goods and services in the global market but also the creation of new strong business connections and meetings with foreign potential partners and investors.

During the expo, representatives of participating companies will have the opportunity to participate in workshops organized by the organizers, where invited experts will provide detailed insights into the secrets and pathways to entering the markets of the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

One of the best platforms for establishing business connections and interactions is the B2B portal, where by registering, Armenian companies will find themselves on the same platform as the world’s largest companies.

The ministry assures that another opportunity for Armenian companies to present themselves to the business world will be the export catalog/magazine, which will include information about the operations, sectors, and product types of Armenian companies participating in the expo. The catalog will be accessible to businesspeople from over 190 countries participating in “EXPO 2020 Dubai.”

The overall coordination of the organization of Armenia’s participation in the exhibition is carried out by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. By the decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia, the chief commissioner for organizing Armenia's participation in “Dubai EXPO - 2020” is the Minister of Economy.

The organizing team from Armenia for “EXPO 2020 Dubai” will also organize business meetings for participating companies, which can be held in a specially designated area within the “Made in Armenia” expo space.

In the exhibition area, covering approximately 2880 m², Armenian companies operating in various sectors such as Food and Beverage (wine), Light Industry, Precious Jewelry (goldsmithing), IT and High Technologies, Tourism, Creative, Media, Film Production, and others can showcase their products and services.

The World Expo is one of the oldest exhibition events in the world. It takes place every five years, with a major city hosting all countries for six months, presenting their most attractive facets. A total of 192 countries are participating in “EXPO 2020 DUBAI,” marking a record number for previously organized expos. The organizers expect 25 million local and foreign visitors.
