Earthquake in Armenia: Ministry of Emergency Situations Reports
On August 16 of this year, at 05:44 local time, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded 16 km northeast of the Bavra village, in the border area between Georgia and Armenia, at a depth of 10 km. The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral zone was registered at 6 points.
The earthquake was felt in the Shirak and Lori regions of Armenia with an intensity of 4-5 points and in the Tavush region with an intensity of 3-4 points.
