Death Toll from Floods in Turkey Reaches 70

Seventy people have died as a result of floods along Turkey's Black Sea coast. This information was reported by the Anadolu Agency, citing the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority.

A total of approximately 2,500 people have been evacuated. The heavy rainfall that began on August 11 in northern Turkey has led to landslides and severe flooding.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has declared the affected areas disaster zones.
