Arman Hakobyan Sustains Fatal Gunshot Wound from Enemy Fire: Investigative Committee

On August 16, 2021, around 6:00 PM, Arman Hovhannes Hakobyan, a conscript soldier, sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head as a result of enemy fire in a combat position located in the administrative territory of the Kut community in the Gegharkunik region, near military unit N of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. This information was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

A criminal case has been initiated based on Article 104, Parts 2, 2nd, 7th, and 13th points of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia at the 5th garrison investigative department of the military investigative main department. An investigation is currently underway.
