Man Who Stabbed Elderly Homeowners in Ejmiadzin Arrested

On August 11, the investigator of the Investigative Committee submitted a motion to the Armavir regional court to impose a two-month detention as a measure of restraint against 35-year-old Arman M., a citizen of the Kingdom of Spain. According to Shamshyan.com, Judge Adrienne Ghukasyan granted the investigator's request following a closed court session.

Arman M. was transferred from the courtroom to the Armavir penitentiary of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

Recall that a murder occurred in the Armavir region on August 8. At approximately 06:50, the Vagharshapat Medical Center notified the Vagharshapat police that two citizens had been admitted with bodily injuries. The doctors informed the police and investigators that the injured were unable to provide explanations about the incident as they were undergoing examination.

Police and investigators quickly determined that the victims were 72-year-old Shogakat Grigoryan and 64-year-old Sarkis Minasyan, residents of Ejmiadzin. While the doctors were providing assistance to the injured, which ultimately saved their lives, the Ejmiadzin police found that the mentioned individuals had been taken to the hospital from 20A Tamanian Street.
