Strong Winds Tear Off Rooftop of Gas Station in Yerevan, Hitting Parked Cars

A dramatic incident occurred a short while ago in Yerevan. At the intersection of Isakov Avenue, known to the public as Argavandi, strong winds ripped off the metallic roof of a gas station and hurled it approximately 100 meters, reports shamshyan.com.

The metal roofing landed on parked vehicles, including an Opel and a Honda. Fortunately, according to preliminary reports, there are no casualties.

Currently, police are attempting to contact the owners of the damaged cars, whose identities are being determined. The uprooted and thrown metal roof also caused a nearby iron electrical pole to break.
