Anti-Tank Mine Discovered on Acharyan Street

An anti-tank mine has been discovered on Acharyan Street in Yerevan today. The information was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the statement, the Crisis Management National Center received the alert at 16:39. A combat unit from the Fire and Rescue Department of Yerevan has been dispatched to the scene, along with a rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center, a demining group from the Engineering Unit of the Civil Defense Administration, and a standby crew from the Medical Support Department.

It was determined that the discovered object is a corroded anti-tank mine equipped with a detonator. The deminers have safely relocated the mine to a secure area.
