Tree Falls on Parked Cars in Vanadzor

On August 9, at 17:22, the Lori Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that a tree branch had fallen on two parked cars near one of the buildings on Tigran Mets Avenue in Vanadzor. No injuries were reported.

A team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that due to strong winds, a branch fell on a gazebo located on Tigran Mets Avenue and onto two parked vehicles, a "Mitsubishi Airtrek" (driver: G. M.) and a "Volkswagen Golf" (driver: J. A.). Rescuers managed to remove the cars from under the branch by cutting it up.
