Heavy Rain Causes Flooding in Vanadzor, Cellars and Roads Affected

Today, an emergency situation has arisen in the Lori region. Between 15:00 and 17:30, due to torrential rain, hail, and strong winds, large stones and rock fragments fell from the mountains, flooding the cellars of numerous buildings and private houses on Narakatsi Avenue and Charents Street in the city of Vanadzor, as reported by shamshyan.com.

According to preliminary information, fortunately, there are no casualties; however, residents have suffered significant material damage, and several roads leading to the neighborhood known as "the 3rd part" have also been affected. The situation has been reported to the Governor of Lori, Aram Khachatryan, who has ordered regional ministry staff to investigate the matter on-site.
