Video: Fire Reaches Thermal Power Plant in Milas, Turkey

A forest fire in southwestern Turkey is threatening the thermal power plant in Milas. The mayor of Milas has reported that the staff is being evacuated. No further details are available.

It is worth noting that the fight against forest fires continues in Turkey. Since July 28, fires have spread across numerous regions in 39 provinces of the country, with 161 of the 174 reported hotspots brought under control. However, there are still 13 hotspots raging in 5 provinces that continue to burn uncontrollably.
