Dispute Turns into Brawl: 21-Year-Old Stabs 31-Year-Old Man in Chest
On July 18, a report was received by the Mush division of the police from the 'Gyumri' medical center regarding a 31-year-old man admitted with a 'stab wound to the chest and a cut, bleeding wound on the left arm'.
The police reported that the man was unable to provide an explanation to the officers who arrived at the hospital.
Through the actions of the criminal investigators of the Mush division, it was clarified that on July 18 at around 4 PM, the man who was transported to the hospital had argued with a 21-year-old young man near one of the buildings on Vard Bagh 1st neighborhood in Gyumri. The argument escalated into a brawl during which the 21-year-old stabbed the 31-year-old man.
On July 20, the young man was apprehended by the police, presented to the investigative body, and arrested. The knife, which was the weapon used in the crime, has been seized. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
