Nissan X-Trail Crashes into Stone Wall and Overturns in the Middle of the Road, Injuries Reported
On July 26, a serious car accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 5:30 PM, a Nissan X-Trail vehicle, for still unknown reasons, veered off the roadway on Nubarashen Highway, near the Nubarashen prison, crashed into a stone wall of a resident's house, knocked it down, and rolled over partially ending up in the middle of the road.
According to reports from shamshyan.com, three individuals were injured in the accident. Bystanders were the first to assist them, followed by an operational team of emergency medical personnel from Yerevan, who provided first aid on-site and then transported the victims to the “Erebuni” medical center.
The police are working to establish the identities of the driver and the injured. Residents living near the accident site expressed their concerns, stating: “This is already the sixth accident occurring in this area, and we have repeatedly appealed to the Yerevan City Hall and the police to install either a speed camera, which used to be there, or artificial bumps to prevent such accidents, but we haven't received any positive response from the authorities. Previously, when a speed camera was installed, drivers were more cautious, but after it was removed, the number of accidents has increased. At the very least, after this incident, the traffic police and Yerevan City Hall should take action to resolve this issue; otherwise, there is no guarantee that this will be the last accident.”
