What Was the Situation on the Border Last Night
“It was quiet in Yeraskh last night, no gunfire was heard,” the Yeraskh community administration informed 24News.
In a conversation with 24News, Hakob Avetyan, the head of the Geghamasar consolidated community, noted that it was peaceful in the Gegharkunik province last night as well, with no gunshots from the opposing side.
Sim Chitchyan, the head of the Kut community, commented on the gunfire that occurred a day earlier at the positions near the village of Kut, stating that last night was calm, in contrast to the previous night.
Nerses Shadunts, the head of the Tegh community in the Syunik province, also reported that it was peaceful in Tegh last night.
It is also worth reminding that on the evening of July 19, Azerbaijani armed forces shelled Armenian positions in the Yeraskh area along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border for several hours using firearms of various calibers. As a result of the Azerbaijani shelling, Radik Oghikyan, the head of the Yeraskh community, was injured in the shoulder.
