The 'I Have Honor' alliance has issued a statement: 'It has been a month since the disgraceful elections of June 20. The glaring violations were merely the lesser evil of that farce. An even greater calamity was the announcement of the 'victory' of the capitulator, which is a lethal blow to the statehood, sovereignty, and dignity of Armenia.
The situation created at the borders of Armenia, along with the recent tensions at the combat positions around Yeraskh, raises deep concerns. The dishonorable peace promised by the capitulator authorities to our society has not only failed to bring stability, security, and true tranquility to our country but has also significantly increased the likelihood of new aggression and threats to our security.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan has not been satisfied with the concessions extorted during and after the war. Exploiting the dishonorable stance of the Armenian authorities, their incompetence, and their qualities of misjudging the situation, they have pushed for a new capitulatory agenda.
Pressures on Armenia are inevitably increasing, regardless of the real goals and motives behind this border tension, which is fraught with irreversible consequences. Instead of necessary revisions to the security system, they are occupied with total oppression, threats, and arrest actions against dissenters, while the 'use of the hammer' has only an internal political context.
In all other cases, especially in relations with external enemies, the display of muscles is replaced with submission, despondency, and a great willingness to kneel. A policy of 'a hammer inside, a platter outside' is being implemented.
As we have warned many times, this reality further weakens Armenia's positions both regionally and globally.
The situation around Yeraskh is the first post-election price, and unfortunately, not the last, that is being paid for the reproduction of impotent authorities. Such incidents will continue and will affect the entire length of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as well as the fragmented frontlines of Artsakh.
The current government will only deepen these issues and draw us all into yet another dangerous spiral, fraught with new territorial and human losses, potentially leading to the final destruction of Armenia's statehood.
The continued tenure of the capitulators will put our country on the brink of new adventures, and the sooner they leave, the greater the chance of healing our wounded nation and returning life to its normal course.
The 'I Have Honor' alliance will continue its fight against the arbitrariness and violations of these authorities by every means possible, with the primary goal of their removal and the priority of bringing true and honorable peace and security to our people.'
