Aliyev's Purpose for Moscow Visit Revealed: Official Kremlin Confirms

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev in Moscow on July 20. According to the Kremlin's press service, the meeting will discuss, among other issues, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. It is mentioned that the leaders of the two countries will exchange thoughts on current regional issues.

"The main focus will be on the practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements reached by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, including solving issues of unblocking and developing economic and transport links," the statement reads.

It is expected that the presidents will also discuss key aspects of further strengthening Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership, emphasizing trade-investment and humanitarian cooperation.
