Body Discovered Under Nor Hajn Bridge, Circumstances Being Investigated

On July 18, 2021, an officer from the Kotayk Division of the Armenian Police reported that a "Gaz 3110" vehicle was parked at the beginning of the bridge in the town of Nor Hajn, without a driver. This was reported by the Investigative Committee.

During the preparation of materials, a series of operational-search measures were implemented, leading to the acquisition of several details regarding the case. In particular, it was determined that the mentioned vehicle belongs to a resident of Hrazdan, Kotayk Province, who was driven by his brother, born in 1984. The body of this man was found under the bridge leading to Nor Hajn in Kotayk Province at around 06:00 on July 18, 2021, in a hard-to-reach area of the ravine.

In order to clarify the cause(s) of the man’s death, a decision was made to conduct a forensic examination of the body. Explanations have been gathered from the deceased's relatives and his wife. Measures are being taken to uncover all circumstances of the incident. Instructions have been issued to the relevant subdivisions of the Armenian Police.
