VIDEO: Kamaz Truck Rolls Into Ravine, Driver Dies on the Spot

On July 12, 2021, at 5:25 PM, a report was received from a citizen regarding a truck loaded with stones that had overturned into a ravine. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

Upon further investigation at the Kotayk Regional Investigative Department, it was determined that around 5:00 PM on the same day, during the unloading of a Kamaz truck in the area adjacent to Teryan 3rd street in the village of Arinj, Kotayk region, a landslide occurred, causing the truck to roll into the ravine, resulting in the driver's immediate death on the spot.

The driver of the aforementioned truck was identified as a resident of Abovyan city, born in 1959. His body was retrieved from the vehicle by emergency services personnel from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Inspectors have conducted a site examination, and a forensic examination of the body has been ordered. The preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances and causes of the incident.
