VIDEO: Car Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway Results in One Fatality and Injuries, Investigative Committee Releases Footage

On July 10, 2021, around 16:30, two vehicles—‘Toyota Corolla’ and ‘Honda Elison’—collided on the 15th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway. As a result, a passenger in the ‘Honda Elison’ died at the scene due to injuries sustained, while the drivers of both vehicles and two passengers were taken to a medical center with bodily injuries.

This information was provided by the Investigative Committee.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Abovyan Investigation Division of the Kotayk Regional Investigation Department under Part 2 of Article 242 of the RA Criminal Code. An examination of the accident site has been conducted, and a forensic examination of the deceased has been ordered. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Measures are being taken to clarify all circumstances of the accident and to ensure an objective and comprehensive investigation.
