VIDEO: Police Uncover Cases of Expensive Bicycle Theft

The criminal investigators of the Erebuni division of the police conducted operational-search measures that yielded results on the dawn of July 6. At five o'clock, they stopped a cyclist on Tigran Mets Avenue and apprehended him along with an expensive bicycle. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

A 49-year-old resident of Surenavan village in the Ararat region realized that denial was pointless and confessed to the act. It turned out that about two hours before his arrest, he had stolen two bicycles from the yards of Nor Aresh and, unable to ride both at once, had hidden one in a secluded corner. The man presented the second bicycle from his hiding place.

The investigators also managed to locate the owners of the bicycles. The circumstances are being clarified.
