Three Vehicles Collide in Yerevan, One Overturns, Injuries Reported
On July 9 at 00:30, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident on Nairi Zaryan Street in Yerevan involving two vehicles, one of which overturned, and one injured person was trapped.
A firefighting unit from the Yerevan Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the vehicles involved in the collision were a "Hyundai Veloster" (driver R. O., born in 2000), a "Mercedes E320" (driver S. H.), and an "Opel Astra" (driver A. Y.).
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of the "Hyundai Veloster" and passenger I. O. (born in 2003) were extricated from the vehicle by local forces. The rescuers assisted the injured individuals and provided transportation to an ambulance.
The injured were taken to the "Heratsi" Hospital Complex.
The rescuers cordoned off the area, disconnected the vehicles from power, and closed the gas cylinder valves.
