Mercedes Collides with ZIL-130 on Yerevan-Sevan Highway, Injuries Reported

On July 8, at 04:15 AM, the Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a traffic accident on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, with casualties involved, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A rescue team from the Ministry’s Special Operations Rescue Unit was dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that a collision occurred at the 19th km of the M-4 interstate road involving a ZIL-130 (driver: A. Gh.) and a Mercedes-Benz E320 (driver: A. M., born in 1997).

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz E320 and passenger V. M. (born in 2000) were hospitalized at Abovyan Medical Center, after which A. M. was transferred to ‘Erebuni’ Medical Center.

The rescuers disabled the vehicles, closed the gas cylinder valves, secured the area, and extricated passenger A. G. (born in 1998) from the Mercedes-Benz E320, while N. P. (born in 1998) was assisted to the ambulance. N. P. was hospitalized at ‘Hiracı’ Hospital Complex, and A. G. was taken to Abovyan Medical Center.
