Death Toll from Miami Building Collapse Rises to 60

Rescue workers have recovered six more bodies from the rubble of a collapsed building in one of Miami's suburban areas, raising the death toll from the incident to 60. The fate of 80 individuals remains unknown.

It is worth recalling that the multi-story building collapsed during the night of June 24. On the first day, rescuers managed to save 37 people from the debris, but subsequent efforts to find survivors proved unsuccessful.

Yesterday, July 7, 13 days after the collapse, authorities decided to cease search and rescue operations. Currently, only body recovery efforts are being conducted at the site.
